When we argue about who is the king of bongo fleva. Everyone will have his/her opinion from which he/she will try do defend the favorite artist. There is always a doubt when you say that Ali kiba is the king of bongo fleva. But its not the case that being the king you are the best. Ali kiba might be the king according to his/her fans, but the number one spot will always go to Diamond platnumz. 


I can give you several reasons:

Through his collaborations with big aryists in Africa and the world like Davido, Burna Boy, Omarion, Ne-yo, RichRoss e.t.c, he has managed to attract many towards the genre allover the world and now they can look for more artists like Ali kiba,
  • He has invested in his music career as well as outside. Apart from owning the best music label in Africa, he is also the managing director of a TV and radio station(Wasafi Media).
  • He has a huge following on the social networks which shows his popularity.
  • He is the only artist in southern sahara with more than a billion and a half views in his youtube channel, other artists are struggling. This is a sign of the quality he delivers through his videos. The creativity he uses is out of this world.
  • He has mostly inspired the current generation in East and central Africa in Music, they consider him a standard to compare their works.
  • He is the best performer. He always delivers the best when on the stage.
  • He can sing and dance any music genre in Africa.
There are lots of things that makes diamond platnumz the best over Alikiba.

Is bongo fleva the best music genre in Africa?

When it comes to music, artists from Tanzania have been doing well in recent years putting bongo fleva music on the African map.  Bongo Flava  (or  Bongoflava ) is a nickname for  Tanzanian  music.   The genre developed in the 1990s, mainly as a derivative of  American   hip hop  and traditional Tanzanian styles such as  taarab  and  dansi , with additional influences from  reggae ,  R&B , and  afrobeats , to form a unique style of music.  Lyrics are usually in  Swahili  or  English .
